Cell phone, iPod/MP3 player, PDA, PSP/NDS, GPS, Digital Camera, you probably owns some of them. What happen if the power runs out and we can’t find any wall sockets? Imagine you are now in North Pole, how you suppose to charge them? Solar and wind chargers is your solution. What I said before is just an example. The charges may be very helpful when you are always at outdoors or on a trip.

The solar chargers simiply get power by sitting in the sun or from a light, while wind chargers all its need is wind.

However it can take a few days to get a full charge so you do need to be patient but you can’t complain as the energy is free and you are helping the planet.

The Solio (solio.com) is solar powered, while the Hymini (hymini.com) is wind and solar powered.

The solar Hymini costs $50 for the wind unit; $80 with an accessories package that includes a solar panel and mounting hardware for a bike and car. It goes on sale this month. The Solio costs $100. A newer model, the Solio H1000, has a single solar panel and offers slightly less power. It will be available soon for $79.
